A few weeks later…

Liam had just gotten out of his car and was heading towards the electric barricade with his ID card in hand to gain entrance.

He placed his card on the sensor but instead of the barricade to slide open, it didn't. Wiping his card against his pants, he repeated his action, but nothing changed.

Wondering what was going on, he placed a call to Mr. Jones but before he could pick up, a security personnel walked up to him.

“I can't gain entrance.” He said, frustration evident in his voice.

“There was a company reshuffling, I guess you have no idea about it.”

“What are you talking about?” There was a look of frustration mixed with anger on his face.

After the drama that broke out, he was granted his long awaited leave for three weeks and now he was back.

Even if something of this sort happened, he was supposed to be informed to avoid situations like this.

Fortunately for him, while he was still speaking with the security personnel, Mr. Jones came around.
