Chapter 17Immediately Liam and Naya stepped out of the living room, Liam flung her hand off his and then stomped outside while Naya ran after him. Chapter 18Stunned by her sudden action, Liam turned slowly with his lips slightly parted. Tugging his hair, he titled his head to the side, frustration rushing through his vein. “I know I’m not worthy to be aligned with you but please, help me this once. Chapter 19Stunned, Naya couldn't help but stare at him as she blinked her eyes rapidly. She thought she was dreaming so she bit her lips as she pinched herself with all her might. “Ugh! Chapter 20 Blinking his eyes rapidly, Liam turned towards her direction while Naya looked away, making his blood boil. “What are you driving at?” He managed to ask after several minutes of silence. “You said… ugh! Chapter 21Immediately he was handed the marriage certificate, Liam passed it to Naya and then stormed off leaving her and the officials stunned. “What's up with his grumpy attitude?” One of the officials scowled, pointing at the direction he had taken. Not wanting a situation whereby her grandmother would have a hint of what happened, Naya flashed them a smile. Chapter 22All through the night, Liam was up, scrolling through his laptop. He had only closed his eyes for a few minutes an hour before dawn. Not wanting to be late, immediately his alarm clock rang, he jumped off the couch he had fallen asleep on and then hurried towards the bathroom to clean up and within five minutes he was fully ready. Now armed with the evidence, he made his way towards the door and after one last look at his laptop which was lying on the table, he stepped out. “The police station.” He yelled at the chauffeur who had refused to turn off his radio. “Sure, get in. That will cost you a ten dollar bill though.” He replied, increasing the volume of the radio. Staying up all night, coupled with the noise from the radio, Liam was uncomfortable and when he couldn't bear it anymore, he scowled, “Turn it off, my head’s splitting.” Thankfully, the chauffeur did as he was told without a fuss. Chapter 23 The moment Liam saw the black sedan which was packed behind him, he let out a sigh and his hand immediately went into his hair.
