After a long silence which was tension filled, Liam tossed a document at him.

“You have to make a promise that you aren't going to return to your sin and also, not trying any funny games in the name of retaliation.”

“What about my company? We are crashing and you are the only one I can call for help.” He took a deep breath and with his hands clasped together, he said, “Help me save my company. That is my family's only source of income and I cannot taste the life of penury.”

Now sobbing, he grasped his pants, “I was born into affluence, I don't think I can survive a day in penury.” He was sobbing uncontrollably now.

Moved to pity, Naya wanted to plead on his behalf but she felt she would be crossing the line since she wasn't the one who was hurted.
