240. A successful mission.

For the next few minutes, Kaylan kept exchanging words to the men who were patient with her as she waited for any car to pass by but it seemed that wasn't going to happen.

“I’m going to call the police right away and get you sued.” She scowled, picking up her phone to make the call only to discover that there was no service.

The look on her face made the men burst into a mocking laughter as she tried to get a hang of what was happening but it was to no avail.

She was still trying to wrap her head around the situation when one of the men yanked the door open.

He didn't have to say anything to her before she stumbled out of the car, cold sweat breaking out of her pores.

Why aren't there any cars for miles? — She thought, staring at her phone which was almost useless.

While others checked her car, one of the men walked up to her, placing his hand on her shoulder and with a smirk, he said, “You shouldn't engage yourself in dangerous stuff.”
