Chapter 55When he got to the doctor's office, after knocking on the door twice, he pushed the door in. “Good morning doc.” He said. Chapter 56“Oh boy, how did you know we were here?” Jake asked with a chuckle as he walked up to him.“Bring him down.” Liam said through gritted teeth as he stared at his friend, Jake, that was suspended to the ceiling and was hanging upside down like a bat. “Why should I take instructions from you?” Leaning towards him, he grabbed his shoulder, digging his nails into them with a smile playing on his lips. “You think I was going to let go of you after making fun of me at the restaurant? Chapter 57Tired from running around since the day began, Liam walked towards his bed and after allowing his backpack slid over his shoulder onto the ground he fell on the bed with a sigh and his eyes tightly shut only to hear the crashing sound from the living room.Wondering what might have gone wrong, he quickly pulled himself up and with a speed of lightning, he dashed out of the room, poking his head through the door.“Is everything alright?” He asked but he didn't get a response to his question. Chapter 58Having no answer to his question, Naya was just staring back at him, her lips quivering as she tried to come up with an answer. That morning after he had rushed out, she was enraged and so her mind began to run haywire, cooking up different scenarios for her and when she could bear it anymore, she decided to follow after him. She was curious and wanted to find out what he was really up to. Seeing Liam's angry stare, she couldn't bring herself to give him a response because she feared it was going to skyrocket his anger to the point where he wouldn't be able to control himself anymore. Biting her lips she bent her head, “I'm sorry.” “I didn't ask for your apology. I just want to know your reasons… reasons why you decided to tail me. It's not as if I told a lie, right from the very beginning, I had been always transparent with you… seems like you're still having a hard time trusting me.” He said with a shrug. Chapter 59The next day, Naya woke up with a splitting headache which made her grab her head with both hands as she winced in pain. For more than five minutes, she remained in one spot, trying to remember the event of the previous night but her head was blank. Reaching out for her phone on the lamp stand, she turned it on only to see a message from Liam and at once she clicked it. 'Some hangover medicine is on the table.’ — the message read. Without giving it a second thought, she made her way towards the table and shoved the drugs down her throat before emptying the bottle of water down her gullet. Though her splitting headache was abated she was still under the effect of the drug that she had to walk slowly towards her bed and then slump on it with a thud. The next time she woke up, it was already past eight am and once again on her study table was a tray of food. Chapter 60To this, Naya didn't give a response, instead she clenched her fists tightly with her head buried to the floor. Now laughing, Sandra rose from the arm of the couch and then returned to the couch she had been occupying. Flipping through her invitation cards, she scrunched her brows as if she was looking for something and after what seemed like forever, she snapped her head up and with her gaze narrowed on Naya, she smacked her lips. “I don't have a card to spare with that lowlife.” She mused and at once Sam and Nathan burst into a mocking laughter. They were so happy that Sandra didn't try to take Naya's side even for a second. “He wouldn't even be allowed to cross the gate.” Nathan said. “Exactly! Chapter 61When Naya told Liam about what had ensued that morning while they were having dinner, Liam couldn't help but to laugh out loud even when she didn't find it funny. They had finished shopping for her party dress about half an hour ago and now it was Liam's turn.“Are you saying I should go back in there and change my clothes for the hundredth time?” He asked.
