Chapter 67

After about half an hour of being in so much discomfort, Naya finally relaxed and Liam let out a gasp of relief, grateful that nothing serious had happened.

Now sitting on the couch that overlooked the bed, he never allowed his eyes to leave her even for once as he wondered what it was all about.

The last time he checked, he hadn't offended anyone to the point that they wanted to pin a murder on him. He believed that Naya was lucky to pull off alive because it was an uncommon miracle.

Since she was acting uncomfortable, he felt that the person behind it all had spiked her drink with a lethal quality and if anything eventually happened to her, all blame would be pushed on him.

Letting out a low sigh, he sank deeper into the couch and then began to fiddle with the flash drive he was holding.
