Chapter 87Returning his gaze to the examiners in front of the hall, Liam dug his hand into his hair and then began to tug on it. Blinking his eyes rapidly, he tried to concentrate on the paper in front of him as he gripped his pen tightly but everything in front of him was blur.“We are sorry to interrupt your exams, we got a report that the paper was leaked before the exams and so we have to come investigate.” The team leader said and then nodded. Chapter 89In order to stop her from doing something stupid, Lily was detained in the school cell which was more like a classroom as investigations were carried out. Several times she had tried to scream out her lungs but even when she parted her lips to perform that action, only air would come out, leaving her frustrated. “This wasn't what I bargained for. I haven't failed before, why am I failing now?” She muttered, darting her eyes around as she tried to keep her heart steady. With beads of perspiration gathered on her forehead, she was breathing heavily as fear coursed through her veins. Rubbing her palms together, she tried to keep still but she just couldn't. The only remedy right now was to rewind everything that had happened but that was just a vivid imagination.
