When they got home, Liam tried to hold Naya back and ask her the one question that had been troubling him.

He was wondering how she had figured out that something was wrong at school and how she also knew Lily was involved in it.

Pressing his lips tightly together, he kept on staring at her departing figure and when she turned in his direction, he shifted his gaze aside, pretending to be busy on his phone.

“I'm in my room, you can call me if you need me.” She said and he nodded in response, not bothering to raise his head in her direction.
