Nathan's POV

Reagan had maintained a chilly demeanor toward him, never mentioning it to his face even when he knew that he was not the real Nathaniel Hayes.

From what Nathan could tell, They were desperate, just as he was. They needed Nathaniel Hayes to be alive and well.

He too needed to use Nathaniel Hayes body to achieve his plans and he would go to any length to protect Nathaniel Hayes identity, even if it meant concealing the truth.

The only person he was more concerned about finding out the truth was Scott, and he prayed his brother would not find out until Nathan completed his task. He didn't want to face Scott as a liar.

For some reason, he felt that time was ticking fast and his days as Nathaniel Hayes was counting. He could sense Nathaniel Hayes at the surface of his consciousness.

Myla nodded to the folder on the table. "How's it going on your side?" he inquired.
