Scott's POV

"Sir, you have an emergency meeting by eleven o'clock with the board of directors." Helen remarked, when Scott entered his office.

Scott turned swiftly to face his secretary, with a frown etched on his face. That meeting was impossible because it did not fit into his weekly schedule which he had gone through earlier that week.

Furthermore, the monthly board meeting was set on the final working day of the month which was at least a week away, so why was Helen informing him about a meeting, he thought.

"What do you mean?" he questioned in a harsh tone.

Helen gave a sigh like she knew what was coming. She had better start explaining, he thought.

"The board asked me to inform you of an emergency meeting scheduled for eleven o'clock today," she said.

" The board scheduled an emergency meeting?" He muttered.

Helen nodded slightly, " yes sir," she mumbled.
