Nathan's POV

Nathan awoke to the faint sound of music emanating from someplace in the Hayes mansion. He gently climbed out of bed and entered his bathroom to wash up.

He switched on the tap and allowed the water to rush out first before he splashed chilly water on his face, which effectively woke him up and removed any trace of sleep from his eyes.

He had gone to bed late the night before due to the numerous amount of documents he needed to review before the following day.

Nathan had made it a policy of his never to bring work back home, but lately, in order to meet up with his demanding schedule, he had to break that policy.

Nothing had prepared him for this position, and he was grateful that he was still holding on and pushing through.

He stared at his reflection on the mirror before nodding slightly as he switched off the running water and dried his face with a towel.

When he was satisfied with his reflection in the mirror, he nodded again and left the restroom.

The sound of mu
