Nathan's POV

Nathan was certain that by the time they arrived at Angle 135th, Vivian would have noticed him staring at her and probably scolded him for that.

If he had been staring at someone else that way, they would have probably called the police on him, because it was suspicious.

It was a horrible decision for him to let her ride in the same car with him because he couldn't take his eyes off her. He wasn't into her, far from it. He just couldn't believe that they were both in the same car and she was right next to him.

He would have revealed his identity, except that it would ruin things for not just him, but the Hayes family, Scott especially.

He moved his glance to her and stared until she turned to look at him. Their eyes locked for a brief moment, but he quickly moved his face away, glancing outside the car at the surroundings.

The car ride was peaceful but increasingly tensed. He crossed his legs and unbuckled his seatbelt, feeling restless.
