When Scott exited the station, he was not himself.

Thinking about all that Detective Hayden had told him, he almost went back home, but then changed his mind and made the decision to at least go to the office and show up.

Scott had briefly nodded to the people who greeted him at the company and had headed straight for the private elevator before any other person intercepted him.

He wanted to make himself as scarce as possible.

He gave his secretary a nod before going into his office. Since he had been recovering at home, Nathan had been using this specific office; their father's office which was the office occupied by the company's president and CEO.
