Chapter 78: future son-in-law

Felicia’s appearance left Edward and Janet equally astonished. Edward couldn’t fathom why Felicia had come looking for him, as there were no prior arrangements between them. But upon reflection, he realized it might not be a bad thing, as Felicia’s presence might help him get rid of Janet. Furthermore, Felicia had overheard some insincere words of affection he had spoken earlier. All in all, it seemed like there could be benefits to this situation.

Without saying a word, Felicia approached Edward. Though her eyes couldn’t see, her ability to determine position and direction was impressive.
