Tom's POV
I proceeded to stamp the photos of the company and my targets on the board, ensuring each stamp was firmly imprinted. "These are the three companies owned by Mr. Ray that I want to attack," I explained. "First, there's Bradon Technology and Engineering. Then, there's Brandon Welfare and Care, which was supposed to help people, but it seems they're doing the opposite. And finally, there's Brandon Investment and Financial, mainly focused on investing. Our primary target is the first one."
Riley remarked, "Tiger should have found something by now."
"Yes, he should. They won't see this coming. It will be a surprise," I responded, a bewildered expression on my face. "I can't wait to see it successful."
"What about the wife you told me about? she betrayed you too "Riley inquired. Ariana also deserves to be punished. She led our son to his death. But why can't I do it myself? I hesitated. my reluctance evident.
Riley noticed my hesitation and asked, "Okay, where should we begin?"
"We need a detective and a reliable reporter on our side. We can't do this by ourselves; we need them," I explained.
"Okay, I'll find them," she said confidently. When you have someone trustworthy like Riley, you feel assured. I remembered the day I first saw her, holding the inheritance letter in my hand. If it hadn't been for that moment, I would still be living as the lowlife they called me.
The door creaked open, and Tiger entered the room. Ignoring Riley's remark about knocking, he sat down. "We found something," he said, capturing our attention.
"What is it?" I asked eagerly.
"First, the app will secretly be launched today," Tiger revealed. "And we found something to use against Mr. Johnson, including photos of him. He has been smuggling hard drugs in and out of the country."
"Ohh! He's a real villain, involved in so many illegal things," Riley commented.
"We also have our hands on the slush fund and many illegal files. We even found some gold," Tiger continued.
"Wow!" I exclaimed. "How did you manage to get all of that?"
Tiger boasted, "You know how it is. He was hiding them in a place you wouldn't even think of—inside a container at the seaport. So we attacked and took it all."
"What do you mean? I told you to tail him only," I responded sternly.
"But you need the slush fund to attack him, so I got it," Tiger justified his actions.
"I know what I'm doing. I don't want to jeopardize anything. We want to attack them like a green snake," I said, almost shouting at him.
"You can't just be ordering me around. You're not my boss," Tiger snarled back.
What? Sky Lord was right after all. If Tiger led the organization, it would lead us astray. I gave him a cold, stern gaze, and he returned it defiantly. Riley sensed the tension and intervened, saying, "Hey, you two, it's okay. We got our hands on the slush fund; that's something to be happy about."
I let my gaze loosen on Tiger. "Anyway, great job," I commended him.
"Now, what's the plan?" Riley asked, eager to move forward.
"They know someone is coming after them, so they'll be meticulous. We should act fast, and we need the reporter," I said, facing Riley.
"Okay, let me go now," she said, leaving the room. With someone as trustworthy as Riley, I felt assured. I remembered the day I first saw her, holding the inheritance letter in my hand. If it hadn't been for that moment, I would still be living as the lowlife they called me.
Tiger looked at me, and I reassured him, "It's okay now. You did a great job," tapping his shoulder.
"I'm sorry about what I said. I didn't mean it," Tiger apologized.
"It's okay," I assured him, knowing deep down that he truly meant it.

Max knocked impatiently on the door, waiting for her to open it. As she did, he embraced her tightly, pushing her back into the room. She had been eagerly anticipating his arrival, wearing nothing but her nightwear. Without hesitation, he undressed her and threw her onto the chair. Slowly, he approached her and passionately kissed her, while she skillfully unbuttoned his shirt. His hand slid down her body, and they indulged in their desires. After thirty minutes of intense pleasure, Max let out a grunt as he rolled over to the other side of the bed.
"You were just as amazing as before," he complimented her, still catching his breath.
Resting her head on his chest, she played with his hair. "You're so sweet and irresistible," she said, her voice filled with desire. "I want you, babe. I want you completely. I don't want to share you with anybody."
"Very soon, babe. Guess what? She has brought up the idea of divorce," Max revealed, excitement evident in his voice.
Feeling elated, she exclaimed, "Really?"
"Yeah, it's just a matter of time. I don't want to accept it so easily. Let's wait a little longer, babe," he said, planting a kiss on her lips. She smiled and climbed on top of him, eager to express her love.

"Everyone, order whatever you want. The bill is on me!" he hollered, and the bar resounded with shouts of excitement and appreciation. Aiden never explicitly said it, but deep down, he yearned to stand on his own, independent of his father's influence. Finally, his dream was within reach. Earning a five percent share every month would bring him substantial wealth and allow him to prove to his father that he truly resembled him in every way. The DJ kept spinning tracks, and the crowd enthusiastically danced to the music.
Taking a seat beside Aiden, Jeremy observed his jubilant expression. "You look so happy. I assume the investment went your way," Jeremy remarked, trying to strike up a conversation.
Aiden, startled by Jeremy's sudden appearance, asked, "What are you doing here?"
"I'm here to celebrate with you. It's definitely worth celebrating. Soon, Father will retire and leave everything to you," Jeremy explained, a hint of bitterness and anger in his voice.
"Are you jealous?" Aiden asked, sensing Jeremy's resentment.
Jeremy burst into laughter. "No, I'm not jealous. I'm angry. Why does Father only consider you? Why does he only see you?"
"Because that's how it's meant to be. I'm the firstborn, and I'm probably the heir. Besides, I'm better than you," Aiden retorted, trying to assert his superiority.
Jeremy's laughter grew even louder. "You know how incompetent you are, and that's precisely why you drove Tom away."
Ignoring Jeremy's provocation, Aiden focused on his drink, silently sipping it. After a moment of silence, Jeremy stated, "Wait and see," and abruptly left the bar.
Feeling like the happiest person on earth, Aiden continued to enjoy his drink. Suddenly, his phone rang, and he couldn't help but smile. The app had been launched, he assumed, as he answered the call.
"Hello, Mr. Johnson," Aiden greeted, excitement evident in his voice.
"Hello, Aiden. Something has gone wrong," Mr. Johnson's voice sounded worried. Aiden's heart skipped a beat as he stood up and moved outside to hear more clearly.
"What happened?" Aiden asked anxiously, fear creeping into his voice.
"The app won't be launched anymore. Some gang attacked us and stole everything," Mr. Johnson explained, his tone filled with frustration.
Aiden held the phone tightly, bringing it closer to his ear. "What the hell are you saying?"
"Someone is onto us. Someone knows what we're doing," Mr. Johnson declared, sending a chill down Aiden's spine. His heart raced faster than ever before as he realized the magnitude of the situation.
Tom's POV We've gathered valuable information against Mr. Johnson and Aiden, but now we need to find a trustworthy reporter. "Her name is Allison; she's known for being truthful, though she's been let go from three broadcasting stations and is now working independently," Riley explained. "That sounds promising, but how can we get in touch with her?" I asked. "Don't worry about that," Riley assured me. "We just need to act quickly, as time is against us. Tiger has messed up, and they know someone is onto them." **** "What did you just say?" Aiden groaned at him. "Are you serious? Someone knows about us and the launch" "We might have to stop everything." "Stop? What do you mean? I've invested a fortune in this!" Aiden yelled. "I understand, but we have no choice. Let's pause for now and continue once everything is resolved," He replied. Aiden reluctantly downed his drink.you better don’t say my name if you anything goes wrong” he said and left him.**** Tom's POV "Who are y
As Aiden finishes talking, Mr. Ray accidentally drops his tea, clearly taken aback by the revelation. "What do you mean? The prosecutor is onto you? What have you done?" he asks simultaneously, urging Aiden to be honest if he wants to survive. Aiden has no choice but to come clean, confessing about the app and the money laundering. Mr. Ray sternly reprimands him, "How could you engage in something so illegal without consulting me?" Aiden trembles, kneeling before his father, pleading for help. "Dad, please, I didn't anticipate it would go wrong. I need your assistance this time." Mr. Ray scoffs in anguish, "You're trying to be clever, huh? Is this the project that you believe will make you billions? You want it all for yourself, and now look at the mess you've created." Aiden keeps pleading, but his father continues to scold him. "The reason I am where I am today is that I work diligently, legally, and avoid investing in foolishly risky ventures," he yells at him. As they are sti
As the door swings open, Aiden and Max step into the room. The weariness etched on Aiden's face is evident, a consequence of a long and difficult day in lockup.Upon catching sight of Aiden, Mrs. Ray is taken aback and immediately filled with sympathy for him.She can't help but express her concern, saying, "Oh no," as she approaches him, gently guiding him to take a seat.Max follows suit, pulling up a chair and joining them in the room. With genuine gratitude, Mrs. Ray turns to Max and says, "Thank you, Max."As the room settles into an air of tension, Mr. Ray, seated with a cup of tea in hand, suddenly lifts his head and delivers a stern remark, his tone laced with authority and dissatisfaction."You better be careful next time before you waste my hard-earned money on something unreasonable," he warns Aiden, who respectfully bows his head and replies with a simple, "Okay, sir."It's evident that Aiden has somehow managed to misuse or squander Mr. Ray's funds, an act that doesn't si
Mr. Ray's habit of drinking is consistently ruined by bad news. Today, not only did he stop drinking, but he also angrily smashed the cup. '"Who the hell came to her rescue?'' he groaned, and his wife immediately picked up the pieces.''I... I don't know, they are sort of gangs,'' he stammered.''Someone has been playing with me, and I will bring out his gut whenever I see him/her.''''But one of us seems to know the mafia gang; he had come across them before and knows one of them. He said it is down by Sky Lord,'' he added, capturing his attention.''He knows them?... Does he know their hideout?'' he asked eagerly. He nodded affirmatively.''That's great! I want you to attack them, use ammunition, and kill their leader. I want them to regret playing with me,'' he said, full of anguish. He bowed down and left to carry out his assignment.*****Tom's POV:Mr. Ray, as I knew him then, is capable of doing something horrible. He would kill anyone who becomes a threat to him. I know who
After two weeks. Max angrily shifts the food Ariana serves him aside. "You know, I can't poison you," she says, focused on her own meal. Max breathes heavily, the words lingering on the tip of his tongue before finally saying, "Let's get the pregnancy terminated." The words sound disgusting to Ariana, who stops eating and drops her jaw in shock. "What did you say? Terminate the pregnancy? Are you crazy? Why do you want to ruin my life? After all these years, I finally have a pregnancy, and now you are telling me to terminate it," Ariana blurts out, tears welling in her eyes. He shrugs it off without any pity, "We don't need it, you know that. You want a divorce. So what's the essence of giving birth?" he retorts. She gazes at him in disbelief and asks, "Are you doing this because of her? You want to be with her?" This shocks him, and he widens his eyes. She scoffs, "You think I don't know? You, this monster, dare to have a mistress, and now you are telling me to terminate
"Today is my birthday," Riley announces, her expression tinged with a mix of surprise and disappointment that I didn't remember. my mind has been preoccupied with thoughts of revenge lately. "Oh, I nearly forgot," I exclaim, trying to make up for my oversight. "Tell me, what would you like today?" With a seductive look, she moves closer and plants a kiss on my lips. "I want to be with you all day," she whispers, a sentiment I adore. "Alright, but let me take you on a date as well, something we've never done before," I suggest, and she readily agrees. We decide to close the business for the day and make plans to meet at a unique taste restaurant. I'm the first to arrive, dressed in attire suitable for the occasion. As the door chimes open, she walks in, looking more beautiful than ever with her long dark hair and delightful dimples that appear when she laughs. It amazes me how lucky I am to have her in my life. Mr. Ray suppresses the media and prevents the prosecutor from proceeding, and the company is on the edge of going bankrupt. The shareholders are withdrawing their shares one after the other, there is no cash flow, and many of their partners are terminating their contracts. Aiden comess again to his father for help, saying, "Just this once, get me out of this mess. I promise I won't do something stupid again."Mr. Ray replies, "You think regardless of your kneel nowadays, but this is not going to work.""Dad, please reconsider. You know the three companies work together, and many of the shareholders are also in the remaining two. Even so, Technology and engineering are the main body of Brandon."Mr. Ray laughs out loud, then his expression changes back."So you are trying to say your mess is also my mess and refusing to help will drag me into the mud," he slowly says.Aiden, realizing the gravity of what he just said, slaps his two hands together. Jeremy's solution has proven successful for him, as he's taken on the role of CEO. Meanwhile, Aiden finds himself in the position of COO, responsible for overseeing operations and reporting to Jeremy. Unfortunately, this situation has led to whispers and a sense of humiliation. Despite this, Aiden has no alternative but to proceed. He knocks on the door, waiting for a response. "Come in," Jeremy's voice emanates from within, prompting Aiden to gently push the door open.Jeremy stands up, holding a plaque, and greets Aiden with a smile. Aiden's frustration is evident as he quips, "If this is a display of your accomplishments, I'd rather go." Jeremy counters by addressing Aiden's feelings, "Are you feeling jealous or angry? I know the feeling well." Aiden makes a move to exit, but Jeremy reminds him of their father's words, asserting his authority, "Remember Dad's words – I'm now your superior. Ensure you report all developments in full detail." He adds. "Keep in mind, I'm still
"What will we do?" Sean asked Riley, who sat without any sign of concern. "Won't you say anything? The boss is in danger right now." "And why should I care? Should we sacrifice ourselves for him? I'm sure he will find a way to save himself," she said nonchalantly. Sean groaned in anger as the door flung open and Baroan entered. Sean quickly explained things to her. "Then we have to swing into action, Riley," Allison called to her. She didn't reply. "She said it's none of her concern. We have to find a way out by ourselves." "Why was he abducted?" Allison asked. "In front of his house," he said. "I'm sure you can track them with the nearby CCTV. I will call a reliable police officer for backup." Sean nods, "Okay, I will." Riley stood up and was about to walk out. Allison held her. "What happened? Why are you doing this?" "That jerk dared to cheat on me. After numerous times I overlooked it for him, he let that woman sleep over in her house," she yelled. Allison was surpr

I can sense your feelings," she insisted, drawing nearer. Pushing me gently onto the sofa, she kissed me. This time, I couldn't resist. As we kissed, I felt myself betraying Riley, every second eroding my loyalty."Get rid of the footage now," Max's voice boomed with urgency."Why, babe? Max demanded, his tone edged with concern. She smirked, "As assurance.""Assurance for what?" he pressed."That you won't leave me. Tom's POV:We kept walking for a few minutes without talking to each other. Ariana seemed to have something on her mind, but she remained silent. Finally, she spoke, "I accepted your offer." I wondered what offer she was referring to and what we needed to discuss. It was as if she could read my thoughts when she continued, "About the house, I would like to move out from that house." "Oh, that... it's a great idea. I'll get you an apartment," I said. "Thanks," she replied, but she still hadn't voiced what was really on her mind. "What do you really want to say?" I asked. She stopped and faced me, her voice trembling, "Tom... can you..." "What is it?" I asked. "Can we go back to how things were?" she finally uttered. I was shocked, startled, and at the same time, my heart melted as she said it. ******* Max and Jeremy watched the body, blood splattered around it, a gruesome sight. Max arrived at the destination the man gave her, an unfinished building likely intended for a factory. He stood on the rooftop, feeling uneasy as the chilly wind sent shivers down his spine. He wished he could escape this situation."You're a man of time," a voice suddenly came from behind him, and when he turned around, he saw the old man. The old man had orchestrated that blind encounter perfectly."Where is it?" the old man asked.Max let out a sharp exhale, "You should have pretended you didn't see anything.""Why would I pretend when I've seen it all? I can't believe the son of the most prestigious family could do this," the old man replied with a smirk."I should have let him kill you," Max lamented."Anyway, where is the money?" the old man demanded."That's a lot. I'll give you one million," Max bargained. The man burst into laughter. "I'm not here for that. So, you don't have the exact money?""Consider this an opportunity. There's no evidence," Max said, his voice icy cold.
After two weeks, Jeremy finally secured his release with some help from influential contacts, but the staggering $200 million fine weighed heavily on their shoulders.Mr. Ray expressed his concern, "We can't even sell the company for that amount. How could we come up with such money?"Jeremy reassured him, "We'll be okay. All we need to do is sell the company, and I'll do my best to make the auction successful."Aiden chimed in, worried about paying off Mr. Gabriel, "But how will we deal with Uncle?"Jeremy replied confidently, "I'll meet with him myself."Mr. Ray intervened, concerned for Jeremy's safety, "No, you won't. I can't lose another child."Jeremy remained determined, "You're not losing anyone. He bowed his head in embarrassment."Why did you even do that malicious act?" Jeremy spat at him.Aiden shot him a hot glare; it was believed that all prestigious companies always found their way around tax paying, even Mr. Ray wouldn't blame him for that."That doesn't matter. What matters now is what's next," Mr. Ray said."It's just a matter of time. The prosecutor will soon be here for an invitation," Jeremy uttered."So, who is going to go with them?" Chapter 29:They stood there, numbed by the sudden appearance of a person who had seemingly caught them off guard. At first glance, he didn't seem entirely human – a man in his sixties, frail and thin. His plea for help trembled in the air with his shaky voice. Glancing at each other, they noticed something odd about his eyes; he was blind.Surveying his surroundings, he continued, "Please, anyone there?" Before he could strike again, Max intervened."What do you think you're doing?" In Ray's room, Mr. Ray's voice was almost a yell, "How could you offer him that much money?" Jeremy sat solemnly beside him, with Aiden present too. "We had to do it to borrow the money.
