Andrea found her way to Jayden's table, where he sat with Alex. It was a table of four; Jayden, Alex, Sonia, and Carina.

The ladies had gone to get themselves a glass of wine, so it was left with Alex and Jayden.

"Hey, there! Married woman," Alex said, raising a glass to his lips, as he hid his smirk.

"Oh, c'mon. Don't start now," she said and sat down between them.

"Thank you for coming, Jayden. I thought you wouldn't come," she said.

"Huh? Why should I not come? I thought this was my best friend's engagement party?" He asked, calmly.

Andrea was moved. She knew how Jayden could be, he might not have attended. It seemed like she had been so caught up with things that she did not notice her cousin had changed.

"Congratulations, again, Mrs. Andrea Jackson!" He intoned, wearing a warm smile on his face, as he took out the gift he bought her.

She slowly stretched her hand and took the gift from him.

"Thank you, Jayden. Thank you," she replied, hugging him.
