Fear washed down her face, leaving her skin looking pale like someone who lacked blood, or a person who had been sick for a long period of time.

After many trials, she finally recognized the voice. It was Stephanie, Jayden's ex-girlfriend.

She could not say a word, her voice suddenly ceased. It was as though the wind blew past her swept her hair to its rhythm, and took away her voice.

There were several questions she wanted to ask her, and many things she wanted to say, but her voice failed her.

Just when she found the voice to speak, Jayden was behind her. She didn't even hear his footsteps, nor did she feel his presence.
