Carina was to start her duty as the interim secretary from tomorrow. She was to be announced by Jayden to the other workers as the new interim secretary, before lunch.

Jayden sat down, thinking about what Carina said. Was she different from the other women? If she were like others, she would have agreed to sleep with them, and get the job, right?

Wait! Why was he even thinking about her? He shook the thought off, and picked a book.

When Alex knew that it was convenient enough to make the call, he took out his phone, and dialed Andrea's number.

He told her everything that happened, right from Carina's presentation to Nathan's reaction.

"I feel like there is something going on between them that Carina doesn't want to tell anyone, not even her best friend, Sonia," Alex added.

"Leave that to me. I'll try my luck," Andrea replied, and then ended the call.

Carina ran to the restroom, with tears in her eyes.
