Chapter 51: The Problem With Adoption

ON THE day where Mateo and August were sent to the clinic inside the Remington Mansion, Mateo was silently groaning while feeling the pain in his leg. It was painful that it almost went numb.

“The young mistress is really something,” he heard Maxine mumble and let out a chuckle as someone lay Mateo on the white, small bed.

However, August was sent inside another room. It was another room in the clinic room, and his eyes widened as his lips parted in shock as he saw that the room may look small on the outside, but exquisite on the inside.

As he was only half-conscious, he couldn’t see who lay him down on the bed. A sigh of relief escaped his lips. His eyes were spinning and his breathing was ragged. Maxine went onto him as she was about to cure her, but he suddenly spoke.
