CHAPTER 37.Dinner date.

It was 4:30 p.m. when Robert was done dressing up and strolled down the stairs; actually, he was 30 minutes late, but Miss Lily hadn't yet called him, just as she promised. He checked his watch for what felt like the hundredth time, his excitement growing with each passing minute. He had been looking forward to this dinner date with Miss Lily all week, and the time was finally here, but why hadn't she called him since 4 p.m.?

He stood up from the couch and gave himself a quick once-over in the mirror. His hair was perfectly styled, his suit was pressed, and his new car was gleaming outside. He felt like a million bucks, even if he knew he wasn't taking his car; he would ride in hers.

Soon, Madam President made her way down the stairs, her gaze fixed on Robert. She was just seeing his new hair style and how glowing he looked today.

"Son, you look so good. Where are you going?” She asked.

Robert smiled. ”I have a little dinner date.”
