As Ryan's gaze shifted back to Mrs. Sonya, he noticed a change in her demeanor that he hadn't picked up on earlier. Her usually composed and eloquent presence seemed slightly off-kilter, her smile more relaxed and her eyes a bit unfocused.

Concern flickered through him as he took a closer look at the table, realizing for the first time the number of empty glasses that lay before her. It became evident that, amidst their conversation and his own deep contemplation, Mrs. Sonya had consumed a significant amount of wine, more than he had noticed.

"Mrs. Sonya, I think maybe we should call it a night," Ryan suggested gently, his voice laced with concern. "It's been a long day, and you've had quite a bit to drink. I can help you get back to your room."

His offer was met with a light-hearted protest. Carefully, he assisted Mrs. Sonya to her feet, ensuring she was steady before they began to make their way out of the top-floor lounge.
