Chapter 4- Yearning within

It was Stephen - his ex's new darling.

As his direction shifted away from Stephen, Daniel couldn't allow but note Emily grasping out of the Ferrari's passenger rear. As he looked after her walk toward him in a a gorgeous gown and with a a hurt expression on her face, his heart started to race.

She talked scarcely over a murmur, "Hello, Daniel." I...I was passing by so , I decided to stop by and say good tidings."

As he tried to deal with the situation, Daniel noticed that his mental state changed. After everything that had occurred between them, Emily and Stephen were both present here. He was confused on what to do.

Stephen, on the other side, spoke out before he could continue . He chuckled at Daniel's situation and said, "Hello, loser," while looking up and down at Daniel. I can't actually concede that you're really doing this crap. Have you ever done anything worse with your life?"

Daniel felt a surge of rage and hurt wash over him as his words were piercing. He expected to unexpectedly eject, to safeguard himself, but he understood that wouldn't settle anything. He took a full breath and attempted to resist the urge to panic all things considered.

"It's important work," he calmly declared. This city must be kept clean by someone."

Daniel could tell that Emily needed to say something, but she didn't know what to say. She looked awkward as she watched the trade.

With a priggish smile, Stephen turned to Daniel as he moved toward the Ferrari. Good luck with that," he prompted. Trust you value continuing with life on the base bar."

Daniel was left inclination crushed and vulnerable again as he got in the vehicle and left.

Be that as it may, he went to Emily subsequent to taking in the parking garage somewhere far off.

"Appreciation for stopping by," he told Emily, driving a smile. " But I need to finish things."

Out of the blue, he heard Stephen's voice hollering for Emily to come inside. Daniel felt a throb of disappointment. It looked like he wouldn't be talking to her anymore., since he had lost his chance.

Emily said her goodbye and made her way inside the building, Daniel put himself back to his work, with determination to finish the cleanup as fast as possible. He would have preferably not been here in any way, shape or form over he should be.

However, he was incapable to get the image of Emily far away from his mind as possible as he began again to work. He was disturbed as to why she had shown her face up at such a unexpected time to see him. Is it probably true that she was trying to express to him something? Could it be said that she was still inlove with him? He tried to make his thoughts clear by shaking his head. It was effortless to live on it.

As he noticed the charming partygoers blending and giggling inside the structure, Daniel really wanted to feel somewhat envious. He realized that he was just a regular person trying to make an impact on the world and had never found a place with such people.

Regardless, as he released one more garbage can, he was unable to oppose the chance to investigate the party inside. He could sight out a bright light fixture hanging from the roof and marvellous pieces of artworks adorning the walls. The guests, who were all dressed to engrave, were being served tasty hors d'oeuvres and champagne.

Daniel couldn't stop longingly gazing at the extravagant scene inside through the mansion's window. But then, amid all the glitz and glamour, he noticed that Stephen was pushing Emily into a corner.

He entered the mansion unnoticed after becoming overly curious. No one appeared to see the one who was talking in front of an audience on the grounds that the group was so centered around him. He moved toward Emily and Stephen to tune in on their discussions.

"...I just wanted to make sure he was okay," Emily replied gently.

Emily softly stated, "I Don't Want You Anywhere Near Him," "I Understand Your Concern, Stephen." Stephen's expression got darker as he said, "I was just checking on Daniel, who was a friend." I have no interest in whether he is merely a companion. You shouldn't engage with somebody like him, not from me."

"What do you mean?" Emily asked, baffled.

"He's not like us, Emily," Stephen spit. He doesn't have a spot here. He's just a garbage kid, and he always will be. I don't believe you should connect with someone like that.

"I-" Emily stammered

Stephen glowered at her. " Emily, don't act stupidly. You are aware of the significance of my position within this circle. Emily moaned, feeling torn, "You are my life partner, and I don't believe you should risk everything for me." She understand that Stephen had a point - by and by she is Stephen's soul mate, their standing suggested everything in the rich gathering of companions.

"I understand your concerns, Stephen," she said softly. He will be avoided from now on."

Stephen nodded, pleased. Good. That is only what I want you to do. Daniel's heart shattered as he overheard Stephen's conversation to Emily; Daniel's plight was made even worse by the fact that Emily was engaged to someone else, who was Stephen.

Feeling betrayed and unwanted, Daniel returned. He did, however, notice an elderly man in a pricey suit standing in front of a group of security guards and staring directly at him at that very moment. Daniel froze as he was overcome with fear.

"What are you doing there?" In a profound and legitimate voice, the older man asked.
