Chapter 100

The weight of his responsibility was bearing down on Franklin, and he felt paralyzed with indecision. He was terrified of making the wrong choice and causing even more harm than good. He felt like he was damned if he did and damned if he didn't, and it was a heavy burden to bear. All he could do was sit there, arms wrapped around his knees, and try to process the enormity of the situation.

Talia knew that Franklin was struggling, and she didn't want to make things worse by intruding on his thoughts. But she also knew that he couldn't stay stuck in this place of indecision forever. She understood the need to analyze and consider all the options, but she also knew that sometimes you just had to take a leap of faith. And so, she decided to speak up. "Franklin," she said gently, "we can't afford to be paralyzed by fear. We have to move forward, even if it's scary."
