Chapter 124

She steered and Celeste's eyes moved all over the place. Water splashed on the side of the boat and they heard singing.

Aviva froze in terror when the boat crashed against a rock. Her vision was blurry.

"Aviva!" Celeste called and Markus was rolling on the ground.

Celeste held the steering wheel before it overturned and Aviva trembled. "No!"

Before she thought the problem was over. She heard Markus screaming on the floor.

His muscles bulged against the chains and the chains strained.

It was like trying to restrain a mad man, much worse, a mad god.

"Aviva, I can't hold on much longer! Please!" Celeste told her, she had been able to steer on clear waters but she couldn't navigate through the rocky waterway.

"But we'll die." Aviva said, her voice fluttering.

"Please if there's anytime to be assertive again, it's now!"

Aviva frowned and sailed, making a few complicated turns. The ship turned at her command risking a few grazes but not enough to spring a leak.

Markus rolled and he roared.
