The other police officer went inside the room with the devices in her hands. I sighed in relief because she was a woman with empathy on her face, but I shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

"Sir, let me scan his ID."

"Yes okay! I just had so much fun until now. Hahaha..."

She pulled up the scanner device and scanned my head because the ID chip was implanted on the top side of my skull.

"So you were born on November 10, 2009. Today is the year 2028, which means you are 19 years old, correct?"

"Yes, mam!" I replied and coughed up blood that was splattered on the metal table.

She pulled up another device that had the information on the screen.

"According to the profile, you have blond hair, blue eyes, and a height of 6 feet." She read out loud.

"Yes, ma'am, that was correct."

"You seemed a healthy, young man, but who gave you the wound on the shoulder and arm?"

"The person of the SWAT team member. I want to make a report about this."

"Hahaha!" Both of the police officers looked at each other and laughed their hearts out for a few minutes.

'Both of them are cruel! How can I change my life?' I thought.

She slipped her hand into her pocket, pulled up the phone, and smashed it in my face.

*PANG! PANG! *

She smashed it again and again. I didn't know why she did this to me, and I just accepted it as my fate.

"You poor bastard! Where did you get this phone? Did you steal it right?" She asked and smashed the phone against the table.

I took a glance and realized it was the phone that Sebastian had given me.

I no longer felt the desire to reply to her and went silent, looking away at the opening of the door, hoping for someone to save me from this brutal interrogation.

*BAM! *

A loud noise from outside was heard.

"Help, the intruder was coming here."

Then I saw the figure of the same woman who saved me from imminent death yesterday.

"Madam Rhea! We didn't get the message that you would be here," the male psychopath police officer said, and his face turned scared.

The air in the room was different from before, and the female police officer tapped the button on the smartwatch in her hand to light up the room properly.

I was awestruck upon taking a proper look at her face. She was so pretty, with brown hair and violet eyes.

She came to me with her alluring nature in a corporate dress in white and blue.

"So pitiful. I just reached this world inside this woman's body yesterday. I will have you." Madam whispered in my ear, ignoring the surroundings.

"But why?"

"Because this planet belongs to you. You are the true heir to Mars's throne!" She exclaimed in my ear, and it seemed this information was only meant for me.

"Huh?"

"But now I need you to become my son-in-law so we can tie up the connection together. Please, I beg you to accept the offer!" She cupped my face and looked into my eyes.

"I accept!" Without waiting for her explanation any further, I accept the offer. Because of her offer, it is much better than dropping dead and suffering in the interrogation room.

"Release him right now!" She spoke firmly toward the police officer.

"But, madam, he is a serial killer!" The male police officer disagreed with her.

Then the female police officer looked at me, and she had something to say on her face with her mouth wide open. "Sir, I got new information from the forensic department that the serial killer is a different person based on the CCTV camera."

"We caught the wrong person!" She added.

"I am sorry, madam, I will release him now." He went behind me and uncuffed my hands.

I felt relief upon hearing the information and tried to stand up, but my body felt sluggish.

"Will you ask forgiveness because of your wrong actions towards me?" I asked both of the police officers in the room.

"We are truly sorry!" They bowed their heads to me.

"Raven, please ignore them." Madam held my hand and kissed it. Her violet eyes looked deep into my soul.

The pain in my heart was lessened by her kindness toward me.

"I promised that I would take care of you." Then she wrapped my hand over her shoulder to support my weak body as I stood up.

We walked out of the room and saw Sebastian waiting for us.

I took notice that so many bodies were on the floor, unconscious.

"Come to my mansion, your new home. My staff will take all your belongings and send them to your new room later on." She held my waist and pinched it gently, and my mind was thinking about what she just said about me.

'I am the true heir of Mars?'

We reached the mansion area on the other side of the bridge connected to the city at about 10 a.m., as displayed on the car panel.

I was inside the expensive limousine, and she put a warm blanket over my body to calm my nerves.

I looked outside around me with a proper look this time, as my life will change from this moment forward, and the mansions all around me looked amazing and huge.

"All the mansions you saw here belong to me," Madam said.

Then the gate automatically opened as the side road was decorated with big trees upon closer inspection.

"Wow, this place is the best! Yesterday, I didn't pay attention to all the details. Madam, you are very rich!" I exclaimed with joy.

"Yes, I am, as the memory of me merged with this body. I realized the owner of this body was looking for you too, Raven."

"But Sebastian said that you guys watched me for a long time. What does that mean?" I inquired.

"Ehem ehem," Sebastian coughed as he was in the driver's seat and looked at me through the mirror.

"That was because you are the test subject of the Garden Corporation, and they put the seed inside your skull since you are in the orphanage," Madam explained.

"All the other test subjects died when they reached 18 years old, but you stay alive because of your strong foundation inside you." She explained in great detail and kissed my forehead with love.
