CHAPTER FOURTY

Owen had just finished calling Veeda and she had told him that they would get back to him in no time. He had wanted to ask for Rina's presence only, but Rina was too doubtful and violent at the same time, so she wouldn't agree to a meeting alone with him in the first place as she would think that he had some fishy reasons for requesting for an appointment with her.

He couldn't handle her alone so that was why he had called Veeda in the first place. The ever cheerful Veeda had replied him with all enthusiasm and he couldn't wait to get Rina's reply.

He looked at his wrist watch, it was already past six and he couldn't wait to get home. Gosh, he was exhausted, from thinking about marriage to dealing with Tamara and signing some unreasonable documents that had him missing his former peasant life. He picked up his bag, switched off the lights and headed towards the door.
