CHAPTER SIXTY NINE Jake lay on the hospital bed, he had just finished receiving his medication as prescribed by the doctor, he had always hated the smell of drugs and hospital beds, but he knew he had to stay if he wanted to look convincing enough. Kate had gone to get him water as that was the excuse he had given her in order to give him the space he needed to make his call to his boss. He knew that his call would be highly expected. CHAPTER SEVENTY “How are you feeling?” Rina asked Owen. They had just come back from the hospital after the checkup. The doctors had discharged him as his injuries were not all that serious and Owen had told them that he wouldn't want to be admitted, so they had discharged him after the checkup. CHAPTER SEVENTY ONE A week had passed, the wedding had come and gone, they celebrated it in a small way, inviting only their family members and close friends.
