CHAPTER EIGHTY ONE Maria had just gotten to the office, she got down from her car and walked into the glass doors. The workers greeted her throughout her journey to her personal office. She didn't even bother to reply to some of them, she just walked past them without even glancing back. CHAPTER EIGHTY TWO “I can't believe I totally forgot about it, oh it skipped my mind” Rina shouted over the phone. CHAPTER EIGHTY THREE Esme had not been able to relax ever since she got the text message from the unknown person. Although she had been warned not to call or text, she had tried contacting the person several times but the line didn't go through. She knew her son would be on the verge of giving up and this really troubled her. When he got abducted, he would have hoped that she would come to his rescue somehow, but after not seeing her for a couple of days, his hope would have reduced or died completely. CHAPTER EIGHTY FOUR The streets were bubbly and all nooks and crannies were illuminated. One would mistake it for a festival, but it was none other than Owen's birthday party. Mai had made sure that the whole city knew of the party. Since she couldn't really decorate the whole city in such a short time, (although she could, but she would end up wasting resources, and she wouldn't want to do that) she decided to pour out her best on the street, since it belonged to Owen in the first place.
