Ethan stared at Maya absentmindedly.

He had been repeatedly surprised by the pretty lady since he heard about her from Andrew that morning. As she came into his office, she had surprised him the more.

He didn't even know if he was supposed to be angry or not. The fact that she knew that he was planning to take revenge on Sophia and her family was startling.

'Is she working for someone?' Ethan thought and his paranoia set in. He reflexively became a bit aggressive in his body language.

As far as Ethan knew, someone could be spying on him too. Perhaps she was working for such a person and was now trying to get his attention so that she could blackmail him.

Ethan looked at her face again. He realised that the faint smile on her face had a hidden ferocity behind the smile. When she had mentioned taking revenge on Sophia, her expression had become serious.
