CH. 163: PRECIOUS STONE GAMBLING.

Everyone still couldn’t believe what they had witnessed. They were all aware at this point that Miles was an ordinary man who was simply fortunate enough to be the son-in-law of a man like Jonathan. Still, Jonathan’s status in the city wasn’t that significant, and worse, Miles was known to be a stay-at-home dad who lived off of his hardworking wife’s earnings. Yet, this seemingly ordinary man had stood up to someone as powerful and influential as Collins Webber. Even a lot of men whose status was far superior to Miles’s, they wouldn’t dare face the son of the Webber family, knowing how their method of revenge can be extremely cruel and borderline evil.

Miles went into a room full of capable bodyguards and he single-handedly dealt with all of them seriously, to the point where they were struggling to walk upright. Then he stood up to Collins and publicly humiliated him with brutal slaps, two in addition to the one he had given the man in private.
