Chapter 168: Meeting the Family

Caleb tried to secretly sneak back into the house without being spotted, but it was significantly harder to accomplish when he had four demon women right behind him. Even though he asked for them to at least hide themselves, they had refused. Their reason was that they didn't want to waste energy hiding themselves. They also didn't see why they should.

He had tried to explain to them that he didn't want his relatives to see them, but none of them could understand what was wrong. In fact, they were quite confused about the concept. For a brief moment, he had forgotten that demons didn't have families. They might reproduce, but they didn't consider each other family, so they were understandably confused when he tried to explain it to them.
