Something in Caleb's face must have given him away, as Mildred asked, "Did the system tell you otherwise?"

Seeing no reason to lie, he nodded. "Yes, the system told me if I fulfilled a certain requirement, I would be able to go home."

"Does it involve being in this world?" Takisha asked with a thoughtful look.

"Not exactly. Why are you so quick to assume the system gave me the chance to go home?" When he saw their blank stares, he quickly said, "Never mind. Dumb question."

Of course, it had to be the system. Who else would be able to get him back home? It certainly wasn't the humans or demons. Caleb couldn't say much about the angels since he had never encountered one himself. The only time they appeared in the game was in the very beginning, and that was only for a brief custscene. Afterwards, they were never seen again.
