Chapter 176: Unexpected Sight

The trio headed towards the source of the explosion as Caleb lamented his peaceful stay in this fake world. If the authorities connected him to the explosion, he was going to have to go on the run. The thought of having to run and hide until the system said everything was clear sent shivers down his spine. That absolutely couldn't be allowed to happen.

As they rounded the corner, the two demons in front of him suddenly stopped. Unprepared, Caleb barreled into their backs. Of course, he wasn't strong enough to knock them down. Instead, he was the one to fall on his butt. He grimaced as he rubbed his aching backside as he got back to his feet. It didn't really hurt, but he reflexively did it anyway.

Caleb focused his attention on what the duo was staring at and froze. "You got to be kidding me."
