Chapter 96: Glitch

Caleb narrowed his eyes at the screen, suspicion and doubt gleaming in them. If the system were a person, it would be sweating right at that moment. Something didn't seem right. For a moment, there had been a strange phenomenon that he could only describe as a glitch. The world had literally spazzed out like a game, encountering a bug or crashing before it went back to normal.

He had asked the system what that was, but the system had acted oblivious to what he was talking about. There was no way the system couldn't have possibly noticed. It must have seen something. Unfortunately, it was quite tight lipped about the whole affair, and he wasn't sure why. Well, if the system was going to refuse to answer, he needed to find out himself.
