It worked, but it had required them to wait out in their respective rooms until they were sure Theodore was gone.
Now that the quest was complete, they could meet up with 'Kayla' with no worries. She had been spending time with her party, but Luke was certain he could get her to leave them long enough to have a proper discussion.
