This caused a few people to stare at her in confusion, while others seemed to catch on to what she was trying to say. The reason why they had been summoned in the first place was because the kingdom couldn't handle the demons on its own. If the knights could fight better than they could, then there would have been no point in summoning them. Luke wondered how the princess was going to get out of this.
"I understand your concerns. While it is true that only heroes can save the kingdom, it's clear you haven't reached your full potential," the princess said. "Thus, I will entrust your care to my knights until your strength finally surpasses them."
