Chapter 348: Getting Back Together

That was the last thing Elijah heard before his world went dark. Luke stared listlessly as the old man collapsed to the ground in a heap. He had used the flat of his blade to knock him out, but he might have still killed Elijah despite trying to restrain his strength. Well, Luke should have killed him, as the old man would be an obstacle. However, he felt compelled to at least show him mercy just once.

It was the bare minimum Luke would allow, given everything. Elijah had never done anything against him. In fact, he had only been helpful, and Grace did care for him. As long as the old man stayed out of his way, Luke wouldn't kill him. If Elijah chose to spit on his mercy and come after him, then he wouldn't hesitate to eliminate the man.

"Let's move," he said as he walked around Elijah's unconscious body.

The princess glanced at Elijah before asking, "Aren't you going to kill him?"

"I have no reason to," Luke simply said as they continued down the path, passing running people and demo
