Now that Billy had confirmed Jacqueline was fine, he turned his attention back to the zombies trying to kill them. He swung his metal pole, and there was a crunching sound as the zombie broke its nose on it. Surprisingly, he didn't manage to knock its head right off. Days passed before they started to see movement in the zombies again. Everyone was on edge as they saw more zombies start passing by, but the zombies never stopped and stared at the house like what happened before. No one was sure how to feel, and it was like they were walking on eggshells.
