There was no time to waste, as The Sand Club Estate was currently in danger. He turned around and headed back out of the restaurant after leaving a $3,000 tip on the table, still filled with untouched food. “To the management tower.” William kept his gaze out of the windshield by the rear seat. He seemed lost in thoughts as he looked out at the amount of destruction that was caused. He couldn’t help thinking of Woodruff. If that man was truly behind what has happened to his business, he wouldn’t easily let go of him this time around. Not even his close bond with Tracy would save him.As they arrived at the management tower, they found that it was still standing despite the cracks and turned walls here and there. Manager Jeremy nodded his head. “Thank you, Big Boss.” He allowed a moment of silence to pass through the room in order to properly gather his thoughts. “It all started about a week ago. Till today, I still can’t understand how things escalated so fast to this point. It’s almost like those people wanted this to happen to the club estate. It was like a set-up, and my workers and I were the bait.” He had a grave expression on his face as his gaze went off into the distance of nothingness. The memories were coming back, and it clearly haunted him.William’s cold gaze didn’t diminish. “Manager Jeremy, who are they?”Manager Jeremy’s focus was brought back to William’s face. “The chairman of one of the biggest companies in Bel Air City – the billionaire called Woodruff Camillo. He wasn’t alone, though. He was in the company of a woman called Veronica Parker.”“Veronica Parker,” William repeated that name as he brought his gaze down briefly, quickly going through his memories of names.

Manager Jeremy continued where he dropped off. “But then the next night, they sent a bunch of people, reserving the club mansions. From Club House No. 9 to No. 12, Woodruff and Veronica reserved them for the next three days. Even though I felt something was amiss about this, they had paid the appropriate amount for these reservations, and I saw no valid reason not to take these reservations.” He brought his unharmed hand up to massage his temple a headache starting to form. “Big Boss William, I would have never accepted these reservations if I knew things were going to end up like this. Please, believe me.” He got no response from William and so he continued with a defeated sigh. “After that first night, Veronica and Woodruff stopped showing up. Instead, a bunch of ominous-looking people showed up in their stead. I even had to confirm with Mr. Camillo himself before allowing them access to all four high-tier clubhouses. “I decided that it was best to speak frankly.” Manager Jeremy continued. “By the end of the week, I found that the Sand Club Estate was getting fewer customers. After a bit of digging, I learned that scandalous news was being spread within the higher circles by those two. By the weekend, I invited the two partners in crime for a private meeting. They surprisingly agreed. It was there I revealed that I had the footage of every crime that their associates committed on their behalf at the club estate. I gave them an ultimatum: to take full responsibility for the damage they had brought down on the club estate and my employees, paying full reparation for the crimes committed. He had the remaining bouncers and workers relocated as a lot of them had apartments at the club estate.
