“Calm down, Manager Jeremy.” William had one hand in his pajamas, striking a cool pose, while maintaining his calm voice. “Look, I don’t usually give away my shares to my managers. So note that this will never happen again.”

The reason William had done this was simple: he felt extremely guilty about this manager. The chaos that rained down on the Sand Club Estate was because of him. Woodruff Camillo and Veronica Parker had come after that establishment because they knew it belonged to him. The week-long suffering that Manager Jeremy and the employees endured was because of him, and that was a burden even 15% of his shares at the club estate will never erase. Yet, doing this, along with compensating the injured, traumatized, and the dead, might ease the guilt eating at him every time he remembers what they went through.
