Augustin chuckled over the phone. “She is an ordinary intern supervisor, yes, but she has a connection with the one man I dare not offend wantonly.”

Drake was confused at this, but the confusion only lasted a couple of minutes before it clicked. “Fuck! Dad, are you telling me that Mrs. Bright is connected to Uncle Billiard!” his eyes were currently as wide as possible as the shock of this realization rang through his body. “How?! Wait, don’t tell me they have a secret affair?! How long? Since when?! Hold on though?! Isn’t Mrs. Bright married?!” He couldn’t forget the title with which he and everyone around the company used to address the intern supervisor.

“Stop with the wild assumptions already.
