“You heard me.” William’s remained resolute in his demand. “Did you not realize how humiliating it is to have me expelled in that manner? My name had been tarnished since every student on campus now believes that I truly stole Wilson’s wristwatch.”

There was fury on Ramon’s face as he stared at the confident expression on William’s face. If not for the fact that he had been ordered by Mr. McArthur, of all people, he would have never entertained the thought of trying to meet this poverty-stricken young man’s demand. He was sure the only reason the McArthurs wanted William’s expulsion revoked was because he was an exceedingly brilliant student and that family loved supporting those who are worth it. Either way, it meant that he had to be careful to not make William angry in any way.
