Longwei hesitated for a little bit, as he tried to find the right words to explain his confusion, after collecting himself he said.
"Father…."
"Can you explain how Legendary Physiques are popping up like common weeds?"
Hearing his son's question, the Patriarch didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Longwei however, just looked at his Father with confusion written all over his face.
He really wanted to know the reason, because on the journey back from the Central Continent his mind was constantly preoccupied with this question.
He had read ancient texts about Legendary Physiques in the Wu Clan's library, and it was said that the requirements needed for a planet to produce someone with a Legendary Physique were very stringent.
It was so hard that a planet could go tens of thousands of years without ever having someone born with a Legendary Physique.
But, here on planet Daiyu, the weakest of the four planets in the Wither Daemon Realm, there's not only one person with a Legendary Physique, but five! and that's not including him!
Longwei was right to be confused, because a planet that could produce six Legendary Physiques in the same generation, is like winning a scratch lottery worth a billion RMB six consecutive times!
This matter was so bazaar that, if the planet shriveled up and died Longwei probably wouldn't be surprised, as one of the requirements needed for someone with a Legendary Physique to be born, was them receiving the blessings of the planet. Which in other words means the planet's life essence, and without a sufficient amount of life essence a planet's lifecycle can come to an end.
This was another thing that confused Longwei, if one of the requirements was the planet giving away its life essence, how could the weak Daiyu planet produce so many Legendary Physiques at the same time, and not have any consequences occur?
The Patriarch let out a laugh then asked, "Wei'er are you feeling pressured by having to compete against so many geniuses?"
When Longwei heard that a look of contempt covered his face before he said, "What pressure? Their Legendary Physiques might be in the top 20, but mine is in the top five. How can I feel pressure because of those inferior physiques?"
The Patriarch smiled at his son's remark before saying, "Out of the 30 Legendary Physiques, having any one of them can make you a genius among genius, especially the top ten. You can look down on them because of your higher ranked physique, but don't underestimate them."
With a serious look on his face, Longwei replied, "I won't father, even a tiger will use a hundred percent of his strength when hunting a rabbit."
The Patriarch's smile turned wider upon hearing that, after which he let out three exclamations of 'good' showing his satisfaction.
Seeing his father in such a good mood Longwei opened his mouth to say something but hesitated slightly, lowering his head he then clenched his fist and said, "Father, Longmin was able to get a Heavenly Pallet, so I want one as well."
The Patriarch looked at him and replied,
"The Heavenly Pallet was giving to Longmin because it was more useful to him than you", "But if you want one so badly, the Lesser Pocket Realm in the Yellow Leaf Valley is going to open in four months time. When it does, I will send someone to search for one in there for you." The Patriarch still had a smile on his face as he spoke.
"Can I enter the Pocket Realm?"
The Patriarch nodded his head at Longwei's question, then said, "Sure, you can go as well, this will be a good chance to get some more outside experience, even though elder Sun won't be there to protect you because of the cultivation restrictions of the Pocket Realm, I'll have a Core Formation expert escort you."
Longwei was silent for a while before letting a breath of air.
In a soft and barely audible voice, he said, "Can Longmin leave the clan to go with me too?"
On the Formation Pavilion mountain, Longmin was in his room listening to the conversation, when it reached the point when Longwei asked if he could leave the clan, he held his breath while having a nervous look on his face.
Back in the Ancestral hall, the only thing that could be heard was.....
Silence.
Absolute Silence.
The hall was so deathly silent that it was frightening.
Longwei raised his head to look at his father, but the smile on the Patriarch's face was completely gone.
Lowering back his head Longwei spoke again.
"Father, Longmin's been trying really hard to control it, you saw him at the training grounds, even when I provoked him he still didn't lose control, so can't he be allowed to leave the clan?"
The Patriarch remained silent with an expressionless face.
Realizing that his father wasn't going to say anything, slight anger rose in Longwei's heart.
Looking up at his father his expression became angry as he said, "Father how long is Longmin going to be kept in the clan? Ever since that day, you forbade him from stepping a foot outside, and now it's been six years!"
Longwei's voice was filled with emotion as he spoke his next words in a soft murmur.
"Father I'm sorry for this child's behavior, but, I just don't like the feeling I get when I see my brother's expression every time I have to leave the clan. He always puts on a happy smile like it doesn't bother him, but I know it does, he's just very good at hiding it."
Longwei lowered his head for the third time and said, "Dad, Longmin's been trying really hard to control it, you saw him at the training grounds, even when I provoked him he still didn't lose control, so, can't he be allowed to leave the clan?"
Word for word, Longwei repeated his question, and he even used an address for his father he hadn't used ever since he was ten.
The Patriarch was still silent, but his expression had softened a little.
After thinking for a while, he sighed and said, "Fine he can leave, but! if he ever loses control like last time then he would have to stay in the clan until he reaches the Nirvana realm!"
Longwei smiled from ear to ear then said, "Thank you, father! I'll go tell him the good news." After saying that Longwei left the Ancestral building and headed for the teleportation circle.
After being teleported to the Formation Pavilion mountain, he headed straight towards his Longmin's courtyard.
Upon reaching the entrance, grandpa Li was seen there waiting to welcome him.
"Greetings young master Wei, young master Min is waiting for you in the training ground around the back."
Longwei smiled and said, "It's good to see you grandpa Li. I hope you've been doing well, and that my thoughtless brother isn't working you too hard."
"Ho ho, you don't have to worry young master Wei, I'm doing fine, and young master Min is treating me kindly as well."
"That's good to hear."
After Longwei finished his little chat with grandpa Li, he headed towards the training grounds at the back of the courtyard.
What greeted him there was the image of Longmin sitting in a lotus position with his back facing him. Due to the setting sun, an elongated shadow of him was cast on the concrete floor.
Without pausing, Longwei walk forward and sat down beside his brother.
Neither of them spoke.
It was only after a while that Longwei placed his hand on his right shoulder and picked up a strand of brown hair.
Placing it between his two fingers he started rubbing them together, and immediately afterward the hair transformed into a pin-sized rune before dissipating.
Longwei then reached into his robes and pulled out a folded paper, and said, "You left a note on father's chair in the booth, saying that you had a plan to get him, to agree to you leaving the clan."
"You didn't even tell me what the plan was, you just said to provoke you into a fight and I'll know afterward, but you..."
When Longwei was speaking he had turned his head to look at his brother, but what he saw made him pause mid-sentence. On his right, Longmin was using a hand to cover his mouth while his shoulders were trembling nonstop.
When Longwei saw that, his expression turned ugly before he shouted in an angry voice,
"You're actually laughing!! Do you think it's funny getting beaten in public?! If it wasn't for you, do you think it would've happened?!"
"I...I'm s..sorry", Longmin said between his stifled laughter.
"I calculated that, after you heard I got the last Heavenly Pallet, you would know to ask father to bring me with you to the Yellow Leaf Valley, but..."
Longmin started wheezing from trying to hold back laughter.
"….but I didn't expect you to react like that after hearing I got the last Heavenly Pallet. You practically called granduncle an old fogy to his face. Serves you right for going so overboard with your attacks! Hahaha!!..."
Longmin couldn't stifle his laughter anymore and burst out laughing.
The expression on Longwei's face became even uglier as Longmin's ear-piercing laughter echoed in his ears. The paper he was holding within his hand turned to dust from how hard he was clenching his fist.
With a loud shout, he tackled Longmin causing the both of them to fall onto the ground.
Even then Longmin's laughter still echoed within the courtyard.

While the two brothers were having a heartwarming moment, playing around on the ground causing their shadows in the setting sun to look entangled.
The atmosphere over on the Demonic Beast Continent was a complete contrast.
With the sun already set, it gave the continent a gloomy and dreadful feeling as if to match with the bloodshed and carnage that was happening under the cover of night.

The cultivation system for demonic beasts is different from the cultivation system of humans. Their levels of cultivation range from rank 1 to rank 9, with each level corresponding to the human cultivation system. So, a rank 1 demonic beast is as powerful as a Qi Gathering stage cultivator. But, even though their cultivation system is somewhat different from a human's, it still follows the same principles, as there are low tier, mid-tier, high tier, and peak tier rank 1 demonic beast. The same as someone who is in the 3rd level, 6th level, and 9th level of the Qi Gathering stage being called an early stage, mid-stage, and late-stage Qi Gathering cultivator, and when a 9th level cultivator is ready to breakthrough to the next level, he is called a peak stage Qi Gathering cultivator. On planet Daiyu or the Demonic Beast Continent specifically, the highest-ranked demonic beast is the two 'Beast Kings' of the Fire Phoenix and Ice Phoenix Beast race, both
The Central Continent was the biggest continent on planet Daiyu. It was also known as the Xingyun Dynasty, governed by the Xingyun imperial family, one of the two imperial families on the planet, besides the Tang Dynasty on the Tang Continent Out of all the other continents, it was considered the most powerful and prosperous. From the emperor and his ministers, down to the commoners in the 8 states, everyone was happily living their lives. This situation where peace reigns throughout the empire, was due to the emperor's strict laws on corruption and violence. He was a man of benevolence who believe that the empire should place the protection of its citizens above all else, because, without them, there would be no empire to speak of. To demonstrate this fact, he made a clear contrast between the cultivation world and the mortal world. The large Sage level sects and clans had gotten a warning that if their conflicts or struggle over cultivation
"Haha, Junior brother Fang what's with the sudden visit?" The crown prince at the building's entrance had his hands behind his back as a smile spread across his lips. If it wasn't for the black smudges on his face and clothes, he would've looked a bit more charming. Some of the black spots had even gotten on his teeth making his smile a bit weird. "Senior brother Bao, my father is a general under your father, his majesty's command. We've known each other since we were little, do I need a reason to visit you?" Li Fang's response caused the crown prince to be taken aback for a moment. "Well that's true, we could be considered close, but…" The crown prince eyed Li Fang for a brief second before he continued. "…I heard that general Ying's daughter is visiting the palace today. Did junior brother Fang perhaps wanted to meet with her?" Li Fang was now standing in front of the crown prince and looking at the height of the two young me
On the Holy Continent, was the famous Chan School. Although they weren't considered the top power on the continent, giving the fact that they're the oldest institute on planet Daiyu, with thousands of years of history, even if the major sects and clans had a hundred guts they wouldn't dare think of going against them. They were able to survive as long as they have while watching hegemon sects and clans, rise and fall. This led to people believing that under their seclusive nature there must be a terrifying force, one that has been building up for thousands of years. It was even rumored that long ago the continent was named by them. On the Holy Continent, in the Hundred Mountain Range, was where the Chan School disciples secluded themselves to focus on their Buddhist doctrines within their three divisions, namely, the Sila, Dharma, and Dhyana division. The Sila division disciples mainly focus on learning virtue and self-discipline, the Dharma d
Ruthless, savage, barbaric, coldblooded, and backbiting. The Blood Continent can be described as such and much more. The Blood Sect is the strongest power on the Blood Continent and they were the most infamous heretic sect on planet Daiyu. To show how harsh the conditions in the sect were; they would purposely limit the cultivation resources for their disciples, and encourage them to fight against each other. The sect's motto was, "Only the strong will survive, trust no one but yourself, if you want something, kill for it." From that alone, one could see that they follow the rule of the jungle, where only the strong will survive and the weak would be killed. Even though the sect had rules for killing between disciples, as long as there was no evidence incriminating the killer or the person killed wasn't a top genius, then the sect would most likely ignore it. Throughout the entire Blood Sect, disciples could be seen fidgeting w
Within Longmin’s courtyard, Longwei could be seen standing in front of a tree in the training grounds. His right hand was on the hilt of his sword while his left hand was holding its blue scabbard. With closed eyes, he stood there calmly, his posture straight as an arrow. A sudden gust of wind blew past causing his clothes and hair to flutter in the wind. It also caused a dozen leaves on the tree to become detached from its branches and to then start floating down towards the unmoving Longwei. Tightening his hand around the hilt of the sword, Longwei started emitting a sharp and fierce, that soar to the sky. Looking at him, he resemble a heavenly sword that was about to tear open the firmament. An intangible force started to spread from his body to cover three feet in his surroundings. Within that space, he became a ruler that could decide life or death. The twelve leaves were all within that three
Hearing his brother’s shameless comment, Longmin frowned and glared at him before continuing to his main point. “When you executed the sword movement a moment ago, how did you view the sword in your hand?” Longwei was already in a sitting position, and when he heard his brother’s question he shrugged his shoulder and said, “I just see it as a sword I’m going to use to cut the leaves.” “And that’s where your mindset is off. I’ve read some old texts in the clan that spoke about becoming one with your weapon and view it not as a weapon, but a part of you. I think that if you're able to view your sword, not just as a sword, but an extension of yourself, then you’ll be able to step across that final watershed, and allow the sword intent seed within your dantian to bloom into real sword intent.” Longwei pondered on those words for a while, before jumping up from his sitting position and going up to the tree. Leaving the Wu Clan, Longmin and Longwei entered the bustling city of Lou Fu. The both of them had changed their appearance due to the insistence of Longwei, but Longmin had been reluctant as he wasn’t fond of disguising himself as his brother did. Walking along the streets of Lou Fu, Longmin eyes glisten with curiosity as he looked left and right at all the different buildings and people. He hadn’t been outside of the clan in six years, and for those six years, all he had been doing was reading the books in the clan’s library, front to back and back to front. Now that he was allowed to leave the clan he wanted to explore every inch of the Wu Continent and see all the places he had read in those books. One thing he realized was that all the people he walked past were cultivators. Though he wasn’t that surprised as he read somewhere that the City of Lou Fu was where all the top sects and clans reside. They had set up stores that sell all sorts of top-q
The disciples from the Blood Continent just have too bad of a reputation and no one wanted to be associated with them or be in an area where there was a possibility of encountering one of those cold-blooded savages. With a significant number of the crowd leaving, the people who hadn’t heard the news became confused, but once they were told, each and every one of them scrunched up their faces before quickly leaving the area. But even so, there were quite a few of them that stayed as they were unwilling to miss an opportunity such as this to see so many geniuses gathered in one place. On the first day of the four-day auction, they prayed that maybe those from the Blood Continent wouldn’t appear until the latter days.As that was happening among the crowd, a swooshing sound suddenly echoed in the distant horizon, and the people in the crowd looked towards it, only to stare wide-eyed in astonishment as a large and majestic phoenix made of pure fire approached this area at blind speed. In
The Divine Merchant Guild Auction is the biggest auction held on the Central Continent by the well-known Divine Merchant Guild. They are one of if not the biggest suppliers of various cultivation resources on not only the Central Continent but the entire planet Daiyu. Wait no! That’s not right either, they’re actually the biggest supplier of cultivation resources between all of the four planets in this Lower Realm.Rumors say that they are owned by a powerful family on planet Lin that goes by the name of the Fang Clan. For some people, it was really hard to believe that a force that spans an entire Lower Realm was owned by one clan, but if you were to believe further rumors which stated that their Founding Ancestor was an Immortal, then the fact that they have such wealth and power to stretch an entire Lower Realm wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility.Powerful clans like them
When Long Wei heard that his face scrunched up in confusion before he asked again, “Why does the second prince of the Xingyun Dynasty live in an isolated pavilion in the guest quarters when he visits? Isn’t he supposed to have a courtyard for himself somewhere else?”The servant still had to listen carefully to understand Long Wei’s slurred words, but he managed to and his face was covered in hesitation, before he slowly said, “Um.. honored guest, it was the second prince’s choice to have this arrangement.”With the frown still on his face, Long Wei asked again, “Why?”Hearing his question, the servant became even more hesitant and a little nervous as well. As a servant, he didn’t want to speak about the matters involving the second prince, but he didn’t want to offend this guest by not answering either.Just as the servant was wonderi
After a while, Long Wei completely emptied the cup before he slammed it down onto the table. He then turn to look at Longmin, who in turn also looked towards him.Without saying anything Long Wei nodded his head, and then turn to Bao and Li Fang who were conversing and said, “Well, it wasn’t a pleasure seeing you both, so my brother and I will take our leave now.”Longmin had already begun getting up with Long Wei following behind him.Bao, upon hearing Long Wei’s words, turned to look at him.He then thought to himself, ‘Father had probably intended for me to accompany them to buy time for the news to reach the Wu Clan's ears.’With that thought in mind, Bao suddenly spoke up and said to the two brothers, “Are you both planning on leaving the Continent?”Long Wei paused his steps and turn t
Coughing for a moment, Bao then looked at Longmin’s rather handsome appearance, which Bao was quite unwilling to admit was better than his own, before looking at Long Wei’s simple and average face.He knew that Long Wei was always wearing his disguises and he had never seen his true appearance even till now, but since Li Fang said both him and Longmin were twins, he couldn’t help but feel a bit strange knowing Long Wei had always had looks better than him, he just felt the news to be too sudden.Long Wei was looking at Li Fang with slight surprise, while Longmin took the words out of his out by asking the question, “How did you see through elder brother’s disguise?”“Oh, so this brat’s the older twin, no wonder he’s so annoying.”After not seeing this bastard for nearly three years, Long Wei had completely forgotten his hatred for Li Fang, b
After being shocked for a moment, Li Fang finally regain his composure and pulled his grip from Longmin’s hold.“It’s the first time someone has discovered me when I use my concealment ability.”Bao looked at Li Fang and said in a perplexed tone, “Junior brother Fang I didn’t know you had such abilities. Were you hiding it all this time?”Li Fang smiled and began walking around the table to sit at the empty side. After sitting Li Fang poured himself a cup of tea while saying, “You guys weren’t the only ones that were improving over the past few years. And as for my concealment ability, well, Sying Mu and Yuyan is not the only one who had tapped into their Legendary Physique.”Soon after Li Fang finished saying that, Long Wei scowled at him and said, “How long were you listening to us? And who do think you are trying to sneak attack me
“The shocking events that played out at the wedding went something like this…”“Who everyone thought to be Wuzhou was actually his elder brother that had used a special ability of the Fire Phoenix Beast Clan’s quasi Divine treasure, to disguise as him. During the wedding, he was close enough to Dongmei to take her hostage and threaten the Ice Phoenix Clan. In order to save her daughter, the Ice Phoenix Beast King proposed to take her own life but have the Fire Phoenix Beast King swear a blood oath to not raise a hand at the Ice Phoenix Beast Clan until another Saint Realm cultivator appears in their ranks. And just like that, the Ice Phoenix Beast king killed herself after the Fire Phoenix made the oath. But as you can imagine, the Fire Phoenix Beast King broke the blood oath and started exterminating the Ice Phoenix Bloodline with their main target being the daughter of Dongmei and Wuzhou. Even though Wuzhou was not liked by his f
Within an open area in Bao’s courtyard, Long Wei and Longmin along with Bao were seated at a table.Suddenly a servant came up to the table with a tray and place down three cups of tea and a small pot for them. After that, he bowed and left the area.Picking up the tea in front of him and after blowing on it for a moment, Bao took a casual sip, before speaking up and said, “So you're saying that a Rank 5 demonic beast was acting like a bodyguard for a girl, who was supposedly a demonic beast as well?”After Bao summarize what he had been told by Long Wei, he stared at him wanting confirmation.Long Wei nodded at him and said, “Yeah that’s the gist of it.”Thinking for a moment, Bao’s expression turn serious, which was immediately noticed by Long Wei.Bao then turn to Long Wei, and with a serious expression he asked, &
Within the Imperial Palace of the Xingyun Dynasty, Bao was within the training grounds attached to his courtyard.Sitting in a cross-legged position, he had his eyes closed as he took deep breaths before releasing them slowly. Each time he did, the Fire Qi in the surroundings would dance around erratically as if they were in a crazed state.Suddenly, a figure in red robes appeared a distance away. He was the head of the crown prince’s army.Since Bao was the Crown Prince and would eventually take the throne, the Emperor had entrusted a sizable army for him to rule over and manage. This was to develop his leadership skills, as well as make him get familiar with having command over his subjects. After the red-robed man appeared Bao did not open his eyes and only said, “Unit Commander Zhang, what would warrant you interrupting my meditation session?”<
