After the Pocket Realm's entrance became obscured, Longmin and Longwei stopped their discussions about the scene they just witness.
Looking over at their bodyguards Longmin asked,
"How were you guys able to overpower that Elder's Divine Sense with your Spiritual Senses?"
At that time when they made their move, Longmin had sensed that their Spiritual Senses had fused together and then carried out that attack.
He had an idea of how they were able to use their combined Spiritual Senses to overpower the Divine Sense of a Nirvana expert, but he wanted to hear it from them.
While Longmin was curiously asking his question, Longwei was sitting nonchalantly next to him, seeming to not have an ounce of care for such things as much as his brother did.
Hearing their young master's question, the two cupped their fist before one spoke up.
"Young master Longmin, the reason we were able to overpower that Elder's Divine Sense despite us still being in the Core Formation stage, is mainly because of the special soul cultivation method from the Wu Clan we cultivate."
Longmin confirmed his speculations in his heart.
'So I was right.'
He then spoke up and said, "Is it the Legacy Technique, the Soul Divergence Scripture?"
The two bodyguards nodded their heads simultaneously.
Legacy Techniques were considered to be a sect's or clan's most powerful cultivation methods.
The Wu Clan had seven of such techniques, which is actually three times more than both the Xingyun Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty.
There's the Heavenly Sword Scripture, which was the most powerful of three sword scriptures cultivated by Longwei.
The other two sword scriptures are the Silent Willow Sword Scripture and the Nine Heavens Sword Scripture.
Longmin also cultivated two of the seven Legacy Techniques.
The Seven Dao Runes Scripture, which is also cultivated by the Formation Division disciples, is a type Qi cultivation method that focuses on runes, and the Emperor Tactics Manual, is a body cultivation method.
This made Longmin a rare Qi and fleshly body cultivator, which not many people chose to do as it was extremely arduous to cultivate both at once.
The last two Legacy Techniques are the Nine Heavenly Cauldron Scripture, cultivated by the Wu Clan's alchemy disciples, and the Soul Divergence Scripture, cultivated by the Demonic Beasts Division's disciples.
Those techniques were highly kept secrets within the Wu Clan, and only the specific division disciples could view them, much less cultivate them.
Longmin being one of the Wu Clan patriarch's sons was not exempted from this rule, however, staying within the Wu Clan for six years and having read all the books in the library, Longmin had set his sights on the Sky Pavilion, which was located on the Battle Division's mountain.
It was separate from the Wu Clan's library and contain all of the cultivation techniques and Daoist magic spells in the clan.
Longmin had managed to coerce his granduncle in to allow him to view all the books within it with impunity. No one objected to this as his granduncle's decision as he was the only Grand Elder in the clan, a position that could only be filled by someone who had broken through to the mystically Saint realm.
Longmin was thinking back on what he had read about the Soul Divergence Scripture, and its complementary technique, Countless Soul.
Through the Soul Divergence Scripture, a beast tamer would be able to cultivate their Soul Power beyond what was normal for their cultivation base. Its complementary technique, Countless Soul, then worked in conjuncture with it by allowing the beast tamer to divide their Soul Power into countless portions, and create a sort of avatar or clones of their soul.
These clones would then act as a branding seal and which was placed within the sea of consciousness of demonic beasts.
This was the method of controlling the demonic beast that the technique uses. But just that only doesn't qualify it to be considered a Legacy Technique. What does, is the fact that the technique allows the beast tamer's branding seal to act as medium and merge both the demonic beast's and the beast tamer's soul together, creating a single larger soul with a stronger Soul Power.
And that's not even the end of it, because, due to the uniqueness of the technique, it actually allows two different beast tamers who cultivated the technique to further combine their souls.
That's how the two bodyguards manage to overpower Elder Li's Divine Sense.
But, just think for a moment, even though the combined power was determined by how many high-rank demonic beasts, beast tamer's had, imagine how terrifying it would be if the hundreds of disciples in the Demonic Beast Division combine their Soul Power.
If two late Core Formation cultivators had the power to defeat an early Nirvana realm expert in terms of Soul Power, then what about a dozen of them? Or hundreds of them? Would their Soul Power be on par with a Legendary Sage realm's Divine Sense?
And that's only mentioning the combined power of the Core Formation disciples, there are obviously disciples within the Wu Clan that have reached the Nirvana realm, and have cultivated the Soul Convergence.
It's only safe to say that the Wu Clan being the third strongest power on planet Daiyu is well deserved. All of their Legacy Techniques were as powerful or even more powerful than the Soul Convergence Scripture.
----
As Longmin thought about this and asked, "How many high-rank demonic beasts do have?"
If his two bodyguards were able to overpower an early stage Nirvana realm's Divine Sense Soul Power with their own, then that means they either had a high number of peak tier rank 3 demonic beasts or one of them had a low tier rank 4 demonic beast.
When Longmin asked his question, the two black robe men glance at each other with hesitant expressions.
Seeing this, Longmin frowned and said, "It' okay if you don't wish to say."
The two black robe men saw Longmin's frown and immediately started panicking.
They quickly cupped their fist and bow their heads, then one of them said, "Young master don't be angry. The reason why we are so hesitant to answer is that our teacher, the Head Elder of the Demonic Beast Division, has advised us to not carelessly divulge the number and strength of our tame beasts."
The other black-robed bodyguard pick up and said, "But since it's a request from the young master, we would be willing to answer young master's question, if young master really wishes to know."
Longmin waved his hand dismissively and said, "It's fine, you don't have to answer if that's the case."
Longmin then turned around and stared off into the distance, watching the clouds and mountains passed by.
The two bodyguards at the back looked at each other for a second and then looked away.
They were having the same thoughts, that their young master, despite being the patriarch's son and having a high status, acted differently than if someone was in his position.
Having his question going unanswered by his subordinates had definitely upset him, but he didn't lash out in any way and just let be.
The two bodyguards knew that some young nobles would have seen that as disrespect and have them punish when they went back to the clan. But from the looks of Longmin's behavior, he didn't seem to have such intentions.

What the guards thought was right actually.Longmin might have acknowledged his status as a young master of the Wu Clan, but he didn't feel like he was on the inside.Ever since that incident happened six years ago, his father became distant towards him. No, even before that his father had favored Longwei more than him. It's just that the incident had been a catalyst for his more distant behavior.During those few months when he was in that dark cell, he didn't know how or what to feel like. He had no idea of what had occurred, one minute he was playing alongside Longwei, and the next he was next to a pile of corpses, with his entire body drenched in blood. He had asked his granduncle for what had happened to him since his father wouldn't even look at him, but Xenchi, his granduncle, just said when he grew older he would tell him and that there was a seal within his soul that would prevent him from 'losing control'.He went to Longwei and as

Somewhere in the northeastern area of the inner region, there was a large ruin palace surrounded by mountains and tall trees. At the front, several pavilions and courtyards were scattered about, practically in rubles with vines and bushes covering them. Walking through here, someone would be able to reach what was supposed to be the back of the palace. Passing through the arching doorway and then turning a hard right, the spectacular sight of a natural spring would enter one's view. As the water seep through the mountain rocks, it created a waterfall that splashed onto the large boulders in the two acres wide pond below it.
Longmin was silently looking at his enormous soul and the flashing multicolored runic seal on its forehead.A small almost unnoticeable stream of the strange energy was slowly flowing into the seal. Longmin saw that the stream of energy wasn't actually being drawn by his granduncle's seal, but his soul itself. That unsettling feeling was still there, he felt as if something was slowly awakening within his soul and that made him worried, very worried. He didn't want what happened to him six years ago to ever happen again, especially at a time like this.Longmin thought to himself, 'If granduncle had wanted me to enter into this Pocket Realm, was it because of this?'Longmin didn't know the answer to that question, he was never able to guess what his granduncle was thinking.Longmin sighed in his heart.'The seal doesn't seem to be weakening in any way, so I guess everything is good for now.'Longmin began to stare at his soul in a daze
Several miles from the Palace ruins, the young man from the Crescent Moon Sect was seen strolling leisurely through the forest. As he walked a blazing aura that wasn't there before could be sensed coming from his body. His feet left burnt marks on the grassy terrain every time he stepped on the ground. Hands clasped behind his back, he moved ahead in the direction of the Palace ruins with steady and unhurried footsteps. Despite the danger of encountering high-rank demonic beasts, his face still had a tranquil expression, as if he was just taking a stroll through his own backyard. Out of nowhere, a rough and grating to the ears voice could be heard. "All you have to do is make physical contact with any one of them and I'll take care of the rest." After the voice spoke, a response was followed by a different voice that sounded younger and smoother. "If you're really who you say you are, why can't you just kill them right here and now and
The two rank 3 demonic beasts under the control of Longmin and Longwei's bodyguards were gazing at the treeline that led deeper into the forest, staying highly alert. However, faint footsteps suddenly sounded out to their left, which became louder and louder as they approached the arching doorway. The Red Salamander and the Sparrow's peak tier rank 3 cultivation burst forth with tremendous power. Their eyes radiated brutality as they stared at the young man from the Crescent Moon Sect, who had bent the corner and was heading in their direction. The young man's body had returned to normal, and the fiery aura that had surrounded him before was gone. He still had that tranquil expression on his face as he walked with his hands held behind his back. Although he seemed unperturbed by the rank 3 demonic beasts' aura and intense stares, he had still been caught off guard by them as he turned the corner. His steps had faltered a little, but he had managed to recover
Longmin who was silently listening by the side couldn't help but frown, and say, "As a peak late-stage Core Formation cultivator you actually want to challenge someone in the Foundation realm, are you that shameless?" Longwei's eyebrows rose in slight surprise, this Weisheng's cultivation was actually so strong. It was only three years ago he was in the 6th stage of the Qi Gathering Realm, but within three years his cultivation actually jump by two major realms. His cultivation speed could actually match the top geniuses on planet Daiyu. When this thought cross Longwei's mind he began sneering in his heart, 'What genius, his cultivation talent was only so-so back then, it's obvious someone must have forcefully raised his cultivation.' While Longwei was thinking that to himself, on the outside Weisheng became dumbfounded upon hearing Longmin's words. The cultivation aura he was currently releasing was that of an early-stage Core Formation culti
As Longwei said that, he took a step forward and vanished from view. Weisheng then suddenly heard the air behind him being sliced apart, quickly turning around he saw the tip of Longwei's Sword Qi piercing towards his throat at an unimaginable speed. Without a hint of hesitation, Weisheng took a step back, and at the same time, a fierce and raging fire appeared around his body before quickly coalescing into a shield in front of him. Longwei's sword strike was blocked with a loud bang. Everything took time to explain but the series of events actually took place in only a fraction of a split second. Weisheng was forced to take a step again but this time it wasn't out of his own will. Longwei's single sword strike was actually strong enough to force him, a Core Formation expert back. After his initial shock Weisheng's once calm expression become absolutely solemn. He didn't expect Longwei's strength to be so great, his single sword strike was equ
