Meanwhile, at the shop, Agnes had brought out several flowers and showed Alec, hoping that he would forgive her for what had happened and not ever let the world hear about it.

“Do you really think that you can bribe me with this? Have you forgotten the fact that you aren't the only one selling flowers at all?” He asked.

Agnes looked at him for a while and hurriedly sat on her knees.

“What do you want me to do in other to forget this matter and I will never talk about you again!” She said.

Alec scuffed. It didn't have anything to do with not talking about him but the fact that his reputation would hit the rock if he had not come back to ask her to sell the flowers. The tables also would not have turned against her.

“Nothing.”

“Please, don't do this to me”

“If you had actually been the one in my position and I begged you so hard, would you have given me the chance to explain myself?” He asked while she paused her lips.

Often times, just because they wanted to make sales, they oft
