James sighed. “You kept bad mouthing your brother when all he did was to care about you. Let me ask you this, what was the extra thing you did when he left?”

Kate was handicapped. She knew there was nothing more to say. The major reason she did that was because she hated Andrew and now that she was roasted.

“This conversation is over.” She banged her hand on the dining table with anger. Her face was fierce and stood on her feet at once. “I am out of here.” She walked out before James could say a thing. Everyone in the dining room watched with shock on their faces.

And when she was gone. James looked at Emily. “Can you see the person you said I should make the CEO?”

Emily couldn't say a thing. It was as if her lips were glued.

Andrew giggled. “I am really tired. I need to go to sleep now. Good night.” He stood on his feet.

“Okay, son. Sleep tight.” Andrew noticed his step mother was avoiding saying a thing. He picked on her.

“Mother, I am going to bed. A good night wouldn't be bad.
