Chapter 24

Loris hummed in his steps. The sound of water splashing and Loris' shoes colliding could be heard. He ignored it and continued to walk on the ground where there were many puddles.

Loris took a deep breath as the ground he stepped on was still wet. The smell of rain was soothing after the exhaustion of shooting practice.

Loris smiled until a horn from the car behind his sounded loud. The sounds of chatter and snickering were exchanged there.

"Hey, I guess he didn't hear that," one of the young women muttered.

"Really?" asked a man with a mocking laugh.

Loris chose to ignore it until the repeated honking sounded louder.

"Hey, you! Are you deaf?" shouted a young man driving while honking relentlessly.

In a narrow alley, Loris, who didn't want to make a scene, finally pulled over and stopped his steps.

Loris turned around and found one of the students at the school shooting game. He came from a reasonably wealthy family and was known to have a troubled personality.
