Zhang, who was behind him, had a hard time dodging until one of the bullets grazed his arm.

"Argh!" Zhang groaned under his breath.

Loris turned his head and found that a bullet had grazed Zhang. He then looked forward again when he realised that it was no big deal.

The bullet only left a small scratch. But that made Zhang annoyed to death and shocked as he did not expect it to be that intense. He gritted his jaw.

"Damn it!" cursed Zhang when he reached Loris' side.

"Let me see!" said Loris when Zhang touched the wound. He then pulled Zhang's hand and sniffed it.

Loris looked at the scratch and sniffed it. "It's safe!" he said.

Zhang was confused. He gaped, "what are you doing?" he asked curiously.

"Making sure the other team doesn't cheat by using poison on the bullet surface," Loris answered casually.

Zhang wrinkled his forehead, "What?" he was shocked.

"It's one of the medieval strategies. Usually, they use animal poison or puffer fish," Loris added.

Zhang still frowned. "That's c
