Chapter 02: Activating System.

"Huh?"

"Did I die?" Eric muttered as his eyes fluttered open.

After a while, he sat up slowly and looked around, indeed he wasn't dead, he had somehow survived the ghastly accident.

[Ding! Conditions for activating the system met! Activating system!]

A mechanical voice rang in Eric's head and immediately he froze as he looked around trying to locate the source of the vice.

The system voice rang out in Eric's head again making the latter even more confused.

"Yes!" Eric muttered after thinking for a while.

Eric's face twitched seeing the system's stats. What the hell was with all those Remarks? He had already realized what it was.

He was a fan of all online novels and knew much about systems. He just didn't expect to get one. But then his system was called the Royal Harem System and he was set to create the largest Harem of all time.

Wasn't he supposed to get a money multiplier system where he would be able to double his money rather easily? What the hell was up with this System? From his stats, he could understand the function of the system.

Besides, he was supposed to receive a starter's pack. Why was his System stingy and didn't give him one?

Calming himself, Eric muttered under his breath, "Open the system mall?"

Immediately the screen in front of him changed and Eric could see all kinds of abilities that he could think of. all of them with different numbers of points.

"System, is there any penalty for not completing the missions issued by the system?" Eric asked after some time.

"Nope, there's no penalty." The system voice rang out in Eric's head.

"Besides, the host is a useless human, so the system doesn't expect much from him either. Just don't die while trying to pick up girls. It's okay to court death, but don't court death without enough strength."

Eric's mouth twitched violently hearing the system. Weren't all systems supposed to be polite to their host, why was it cursing him?

But still, he asked, "System, shouldn't I receive a starter's pack or something?"

"The host starter's pack had already been used to save the Host's life. Besides the host is virgin, the system might have given the host another starter pack if only he wasn't a virgin." The mechanical voice replied.

Eric's mouth twitched violently hearing what the system said. What the hell was wrong with the system? Insulting him at every given chance.

At that moment, Eric knew the reason as to why he was alive. It turned out that it was the system that had saved him.

A voice came just as Eric was about to ask the system another question making Eric lookup.

Not far from him was a beautiful doctor in a lab coat who stared at him as though she had seen a ghost.

The system's mechanical voice rang out.

"Make the beautiful doctor peck you."

"The system won't be shocked if the host can't complete the mission. The host is a loser anyway and most importantly a Virgin."

Eric's face turned black hearing this. He was okay with the mission, but what the hell was with the system insulting him at each turn?

Taking in a deep breath, Eric pushed all thoughts to the back of his mind and looked at the doctor who was still staring at him.

"Excuse me, ma'am, is there a flower on my face?"

Hearing Eric's statement, the doctor immediately came back to her senses and her face went red with embarrassment and hurriedly walked towards Eric.

Picking up the equipment, she started to check Eric's condition wondering why he was awake. His injuries were serious and she had estimated that he wasn't going to wake up till after a week.

But then to her shock, he had woken up after a day. This had to be a miracle, there was no other explanation as the stats she was looking at, at the moment showed that Eric was fine.

[Ding ten points acquired]

The system's voice rang out in Eric's head. At that moment Eric realized that even if he was completing the system's mission, he could still earn points.

"Remarks: System impression of the host improved a little. Mind you it might fall again."

Eric shook his head and looked at the beautiful female doctor in front, he was already used to the system's sarcastic remarks.

He was thinking of a way to make the doctor kiss him. Even though it sounded like an impossible job, he knew he had to do it.

After thinking about it for a minute, a plan was formulated in his mind. As long as it went well, the doctor was going to kiss him.
