Chapter 06:Love Rival

"And how's that your business?" Eric frowned, turning around slowly to face Amelia.

"Why didn't you tell me in the past that you were rich?" Amelia gritted her teeth as she pointed at Eric.

She couldn't believe that the latter had hidden such a huge secret from her and had let her suffer for many years.

"And why should I tell someone who's not grateful?" Eric squinted his brows as he looked at Amelia.

"You..." Amelia gritted her teeth as he pointed at Eric.

"Tell me, in the past, when have you ever been content with what I did for you? All you did was criticize me and compare me to your friends who had rich boyfriends, and yet you want me to tell you about my wealth?" Eric raised his brows as he said calmly.

"I'm afraid you're not worthy." Eric shook his head as he continued.

"Eric, I'll never forgive you for what you did," Amelia yelled.

"Forgive me?" Eric raised his brows.

"I thought you were the one who said we were not from the same world? Yeah, that turned out correctly, we're not in the same world." Eric shrugged.

Amelia gritted her teeth as she stared at Eric feeling extremely embarrassed. At that moment, she felt all but anger towards Eric, slowly, it turned to hatred.

A hatred so deep just all she wanted was just to see him drop dead as she couldn't bear to see him alive.

It was as though God listened to her prayers as at that same time, two Vans suddenly pulled up in front of Eric.

Next, ten bulky men came out of the car holding all kinds of weapons and surrounded him.

Soon, a luxurious car pulled up near the two Vans, a figure alighted from the car excluding an air of arrogance as he stared at Eric with a glint in his eyes.

Eric's mouth curled up into a smile seeing the figure. He didn't expect this to happen. Seems like the system was right, he had indeed acquired a love rival.

"Boy, do you think you could steal the woman, I, Mark Tylor have eyes on me and go scot-free!" The man snorted coldly as she walked towards Eric.

"How did I steal her?" Eric asked with confusion written all over his face.

"Don't tell me that you don't have a relationship with her, she was supposed to kiss me, yet it was you, a lowly brat like you whom she kissed." Mark snorted coldly.

"And how's that supposed to be my fault?" Eric furrowed his brows as he looked at Mark.

"You can't woo her, and now you're coming to blame me. How's that even reasonable?"

"Are you trying to reason with me?" Mark snorted arrogantly.

"I don't care about that, all I know is that you stole my woman, so you have to pay the price." Mark sneered.

Eric facepalmed as he looked at the latter as though he was looking at an idiot.

"I don't have anything to do with her. Besides, she's still at her workplace, so why do you have to come to disturb me over something I know nothing about."

"Wouldn't it be better to confront her since she's your woman?"

"I don't care, all I know is that you have to pay for what you've done. You'll regret allowing her to kiss you even if it was not your fault."

"Why do you sound like an idiot who's trying to justify baseless accusations? If I had known you were this insecure, I would've sent you a sympathy card instead of dealing with your nonsense." Eric couldn't help but curse.

"How dare you talk to me this way?" Mark immediately flew into a rage.

"And who do you think you are?" Eric shrugged.

"You'd better kowtow and apologize to me, and then I might lessen your punishment," Mark sneered.

"Whatever?" Eric Shrugged as he could care less about the latter.

"Seems like you want to die." Mark snorted arrogantly.

"Boys, break his limbs," Mark commanded.

Immediately, the men swung into action and attacked. Eric's mouth curled up into a smirk as he watched the men come closer to him.

At that moment, Amelia's eyes flashed with a glint as she couldn't help but imagine a scene where Eric was all beaten up. Mark was no different, he was also smiling as he waited for the men to beat Eric up.

Bang! Bang!

A series of muffled groans sounded, coupled with a series of blood-curdling screams.

In no time, all the men were lying on the floor groaning in pain as they all suffered greatly, each with either a broken leg or arm. Eric was rather ruthless in his attacks.

With his physical prowess, he could easily take on fifty of these men without breaking a sweat.

"And you?" Eric grinned as he turned around to look at Mark who was staring at him in shock.

"Don't come close," Mark yelled as he moved back slowly as Eric approached him.

"And why Shouldn't I come closer?" Eric frowned.

"Didn't you want to break my limbs?"

"I..." Mark shuttered not knowing what to say. At the moment, he was sweating bullets as he was scared of the latter.

"Come on, break my limbs, here I am standing right in front of you." Eric grinned.

"No, I don't want to break your limbs, I was only bluffing." Mark shivered as he looked at Eric.

"Then, I'll break yours instead." Eric sneered and kicked Mark to the floor stepping on the latter's leg.

Crack!

A loud cracking sound resounded throughout the place, followed by a blood-curdling scream as Eric broke Mark's legs.

[Ding: Two hundred points received]

[Ding: Three hundred points received]

Just then, a series of the system's notifications rang in Eric's mind making him frown. He ignored it before Mark came as he knew the cause, but now, he was quite surprised.

What had he done for the system to give him points? He knew the system was not generous, and it couldn't be from Mark's feelings.

Turning around, Eric saw Amelia and her friend's expression ashen in fear. At that moment, he understood what was happening and couldn't help but smile.

For a moment, he couldn't help but think about scaring the three girls shitless as he wondered how many points they would be able to generate for him.

He would use them to farm points until he was satisfied. But on second thought, he was not a wicked person so he ignored the three.

"Eric, you're crazy, what the hell do you think you're doing?" Amelia yelled as she came back to her senses.

"I never said I was sane, Amelia." Eric turned around and he looked at Amelia with a grin.

At that moment, a series of notifications rang in his mind which made him smile. Seems like she was really scared.

Eric ignored the three and turned around to look at Mark, who was lying on the floor.

"Now, let's continue from where we stopped." Eric grinned as he looked at Mark.

Vroom!

Rows of police cars suddenly drove into the scene at the moment.
